Alma Explores trips leads have all received Covid-19 vaccinations. Through 2021 and in accordance with the CDC’s recommendations, we are requiring our travelers be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least two weeks before traveling with Alma Explores. This is in addition to adhering to any other testing and quarantine requirements airlines and countries require for entry. Please check the individual country of entry for Covid-19 entry and exit requirements.

We do not include travel insurance. Travel insurance is mandatory and our preferred travel insurance is World Nomad’s.

Payments are REFUNDABLE up to 60 days before the trip, with the Exception of your deposits. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE You must communicate your cancellation via email at alma@almaexplores.com. If you cancel 59 days or less before departure, all payments are non-refundable.

Yes, you must have a passport, as a United States citizen, you must present a valid passport when flying in and out of Mexico. There are no exceptions to this rule. Passport cards are not accepted when traveling by air.

You will also need a “Forma Migratioria Multiple” or FMT when flying into Mexico. You can obtain an FMT from an airline or at any port.

There is a small fee associated with the FMT. This “tourist” fee is typically covered when you buy your plane ticket to Mexico.

No, airfare is not included in the price of our trips. You are responsible for booking your own travel arrangements.
